Gig Information

Join the Klezmer Rebs and the Shake 'Em On Downers for a concert to benefit the Israeli volunteers who meet and transport Palestinians for urgent medical treatment.

What is Road to Recovery'
Every year, 700 Road to Recovery volunteers meet 3600 Palestinians at the crossings between Gaza, the West Bank and Israel. These volunteers drive to medical appointments, and raise funds for equipment and other support. Road to Recovery tries to bridge the abyss between the people of both sides of the border with a vision of hope, friendship, humanity and compassion. The way to peace and trust between Israelis and Palestinians must encompass face-to-face meetings between people who put their humanity before any considerations of religious faith or politics.
Road to Recovery is apolitical and non-profit, staffed entirely by volunteers, and funded entirely by donations. All donated funds go directly to its activities.
