We finish off New Zealand Music Month with this electric ‘eclectic’ group.
You’d be hard pressed to find a group anywhere in the world that creates music even close to the incredible sound emanating from the great Wellington trio The All Seeing Hand.
The group mashes together a mind-melting combination of turntablism, drumming and throat-singing to create a sonic force that is better heard than described. On top of this extraordinary approach to music-making, the three-piece group has been taking its A-game to live gigs, with all three squeezing into a giant pink latex suit called The Blob, from which they burst forth to perform.
