Cumbia Blazera features 11 handsome* guys in football uniforms, playing instruments and singing upbeat tunes: Colombian classics, Kiwi hits and our own songs. They are also a football team, part of the Sunday Blazer franchise which reigns supreme over the Sunday league.
Some are professional musicians, some are South American, some are ‘other’. We sing in Spanish, English, and in the universal language of chanting sounds like ‘Wai-ooo’. Since 2012.
Most songs are football themed. Sometimes we sing about other things - like... OK, so all our songs are about football. Even the instrumentals.
