Operating under the moniker KLP, Sydney based artist Kristy Lee Peters is quickly gaining notoriety as a producer, songwriter, vocalist, DJ and radio host, amassing much deserved attention ahead of her sophomore EP release and live tour.
With an acclaimed list of festivals under her belt this year including SXSW, Splendour in the Grass, Field Day, BIGSOUND and Falls Festival, it’s no surprise that she’s been tagged as one of the 10 Local Producers to Watch in 2014 by inthemix, is a credible addition to the 2014 EMC Spotlight as well as being a consistent taste-maker on triple j’s House Party each Saturday night.
KLP is as prolific as she is talented and this is evident in her numerous local and international collaborations, which topped Hype Machine at #1 as well claiming the #1 position in Japan’s Electronic Chart.
Working with industry talents such as Zimmer, Crayon, Satin Jackets and What So Not is just one facet of KLP’s ever-expanding creative prowess.
Having recently released her hook laden seductive slow jam, Medicine, through EMI Music Australia, KLP continues to prove herself as one of Australia’s most exciting industry talents. Incorporating her trademark layered vocals with a melange of house, RnB and pop, she continues to show her aptitude for pushing the boundaries.
