Operation Rolling Thunder return from their slumber to fill the Crown Hotel with the glorious sounds of experimental instrumental music, the likes of which haven't been heard in these parts since 2011.
They bring with them the ersatz freak-pop of G Ross (Onanon, Evil Kid), the glorious space-focussed synth-pop-wave of Strange Harvest, and the noise-bed stilted melodies of Second Hour.
Doors open 9pm, music from 9:30pm, $10 on the door, if you get there after 11:30pm prepare to be bitterly disappointed.
