To say 2016 was a strong year for the Gallantino stars, Tapz and Mzwétwo, is an understatement. 2016 was only a taste of what they really mean when they say Gallantino Worldwide, with Tapz signing an international management deal with Kanye West's label G.O.O.D music, and Mzwétwo signing an international recording deal with Grammy nominated producer Axident.
The two are bringing their talent back home for their very first Gallantino tour. Two dates, two cities. Auckland Friday 5th of May at REC and Wellington Saturday 6th of May at MEOW.
The two artists both migrated from Zimbabwe at a young age. Eager to share their love of music and sense of alienation, they formed a collective of young creatives, Gallantino. Their relationship goes beyond just music. Becoming blood brothers as soon as they met, they share an interest in creating progressive art with a vision to serve through innovation.
What can we expect based off what we already know' We know that they believe in creating things that are progressive and innovative. We know that the show is backed by the leading booking agent in the world, WME. We also know that they have a huge stage presence, and undeniably unique personalities. The collision of both universes, Tapz’s Noir-R&B, and Mzwétwo’s Rock n Roll Rap, can only amount to a big bang. A sight not to miss. You snooze you lose.
