The Grow Room presents - Grow Room Sessions Live: a series of live music events including artists who have featured on our popular Grow Room Sessions video series.

For our first lineup were bringing in some of Aucklands finest hip-hop music proponents, showcasing a few of the best producer/MC duos and solo acts in the city including: Cleophus, Shiraz & LSJ, Free Minds and ENO x DIRTY.

CLEOPHUS:

One half of Badcorporation, Cleophus combines his relentless flows and honest story-telling with his uniquely psychedelic production style through a methodical approach that is all-his-own. Expect confrontation, introspection and mind-opening poetry from Cleophus.

SHIRAZ & LSJ:

In 2016 Shiraz & LSJ made waves with their debut album Jive Days, which received critical attention from some of New Zealands music stalwarts and listeners alike. With their trademark goofy-humour, well-realised narrative concepts and refreshing beats you can expect this young duo to bring the heat everytime they step on stage.

FREE MINDS:

Free Minds sees the pairing of underground hip-hop producer Dusty Melody with Badcorporations mesmerisingly energetic MC Faz. Fresh off the back of Dustys recent LP release I Wanna Live In The Country But The City Said No Free Minds are ready to bring their classic Dust & Dirt material to the stage, as well as sharing a bunch of unreleased material on the night.

ENO x DIRTY continue to kill it on the New Zealand hip-hop circuit, bringing the finesse of their respective production and MC skill palletes to the fore on every stage they land on. Expect an uncompromisingly heavy energy and interactivity on the night.
