Gig Information

An afternoon of alternative and punk rock in association with The Jam Factory and The Incubator. Entry is only $5 or a donation of non-perishable food for the Tauranga food bank or both.

Battlecat from Hamilton are making strides in the NZ punk rock world, high energy, kick ass, Cali-Punk. Influenced by such luminaries as the Descendents, Lagwagon, NOFX, Bad Brains, The Bronx, Pennywise, Strung Out, Screeching Weasel, Rancid, Bad Religion, Ramones, Misfits, Dead Kennedys

The Carradines from Tauranga, Introducing your new favourite avant-garde creepy hard rock progressive punk power trio, The Carradines. What would you expect from a band named after a man who died in a tragic masturbation accident'

Dead Simple from Tauranga, Dead Simple are Lara, Jimmy and Glen. Glen, guitarist and lead singer has a history in NZ music playing for many bands over the years including Unrestful Movements. Their song Anti-Trend featured on classic cult NZ tv show Radio With Pictures.

Liberated Squid from Tauranga, The Squids play 'old fashioned' punk rock. Influences include Stiff Little Fingers, The Clash and Ramones. Our songs cover a range of subjects sometimes political, sometimes fun, sometimes cynical, sometimes Verne. A combination of witty lyrics and self proclaimed poor musicianship make Liberated Squid a fun band to listen to.
