Robin Laing is a singer songwriter, originally from Edinburgh but now living in the Clyde Valley.
Robin has a special interest in the culture of whisky – he writes endless songs and poems on the subject and has a whisky and song one-man show. He has recorded 5 whisky CDs and written three whisky books, including an anthology of 95 Scottish whisky songs and poems.
Robin also writes tasting notes for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
His other self-penned songs, many of which have been taken up by other artists are on a wide variety of subjects; everything from Ulysses to Clydesdale horses, from bridges to battles and from black coffee to love in the shower.
