Jess Atkin has become renowned for her distinctive, powerful yet soulful voice, which slips well into the Rock and R&B vibe yet transitions smoothly into the Jazz & Blues genres. Jess is supported by The Urban Cats. Fronted by the renowned Dad Dave Atkin on keyboard, the bass section is put together by mix of stand-up and electric bass by the multi-talented Alex Powley. The rhythm section is completed and kept in sync with husband Joost Persoon on Cajon. Adding to this, The Urban Cats are punctuated with a one-man horn section by the famous Matt Mear on trumpet, playing tasteful breaks and backgrounds.
