Listen: Jeff The Brotherhood - Mary Of Silence (Mazzy Star Cover)

Attempting a Mazzy Star cover is a bold move considering Hope Sandoval's vocal stylings are pretty untouchable, but the sibling duo Jeff The Brotherhood have given it a good crack with their heavy rendition of 'Mary Of Silence'. Lifted from 1993 record So Tonight That I Might See, the original version is a spacious affair that, whereas the Orral bros have filled in the track with layers of distorted guitar, echoing drums, ominous bass and sludgy vocals.
