Video: We Are Temporary - You Can Now Let Go
Ex-pat musician We Are Temporary (aka Mark Roberts) has unveiled a new video for 'You Can Now Let Go' from his long overdue debut album Crossing Over. Along with the song's release, the Brooklyn-based artist has penned a post about a debilitating panic attack that prompted the birth of the handclap-laden single, which he explains depicts "the moment of death not as trauma, but as a quiet and radiant farewell." He goes on to write: "It helps me remember what I learned that night: when interconnection, acceptance, and joy flood through you, it is a moment to embrace, not escape".
The single comes with a video pieced together by the musician that lifts striking footage from psychological short film Dans Mon Cocon by Nadine Asmar and Georges Hazim. Take a look below and keep an eye out for Crossing Over, which is due for release in February via Stars & Letters Records...
