The clown prince of jangle-pop Mac DeMarco was in the country last week for a string of sold-out shows around the country. Mac, along with his fantastic backing band, wooed fans from Auckland to Christchurch with his gap-toothed smile, captivating performances and a sack load of drowsy love songs lifted from his back catalogue.
