Cat Power Shows Postponed

Cat Power Shows Postponed

Tuesday 2nd February, 2016 8:16AM

Cat Power's two sold-out New Zealand shows, which were set to take place across Wellington and Auckland tonight and tomorrow night respectively, have been postponed due to illness. The musician, whose real name is Chan Marshall, suffers from Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) a potentially fatal rare blood disease that causes swelling around the throat, oesophagus and internal organs.

Along with her New Zealand shows, the Australian leg has also been put on hold. This is the first time in an 18 year touring history downunder that Marshall has been forced to postpone any shows and she is determined too make it back as soon as possible - and in good health.

Hold on to your tickets though, as they will remain valid for the rescheduled dates which will be advised shortly.
