Listen/Watch: Lush - Out Of Control

Seminal 90s shoegaze outfit Lush have unveiled their first new song in two decades. The group announced their reunion late last year with a handful of European performances on the cards for this coming May, which will be the band's first live shows since September 1996. Lush separated later that year following the tragic suicide of drummer Chris Acland. The reunited line-up sees original members Emma Anderson, Miki Berenyi and Phil King, with Elastica's Justin Welch taking up drum duties. 

Swirling new single 'Out Of Control' is the opening track from a forthcoming EP Blind Spot, which will be released on April 15 via 4AD. In a press release frontwoman Miki Berenyi said of the new project: "It’s been a long time since I’ve written Lush lyrics, and I realised early on with this EP that what I wrote about then is not what I feel comfortable writing about now. My perspective, and what is close to my heart, has changed, and I think that’s conveyed in the songs." Soak up 'Out Of Control' below...
