A beautifully stirring new album has surfaced out of the blue from Christchurch-formed outfit The Renderers. The long-standing act, which centres around Brian and Maryrose Crook, has been based in the creative breeding ground of California's Joshua Tree since they lifted their roots from Canterbury in the midst of the unsettling earthquakes that have plagued the city.
The swirling new nine-song record, titled In The Sodium Light, is a calm walk in the footsteps of their 2011 noise-infused effort A Rocket Into Nothing, and is set for release through Ba Da Bing this Friday 26th February.
