Listen: Orchestra Of Spheres - Trapdoors (UTR Premiere)

Wellington's sonic innovators Orchestra Of Spheres have revealed details for their forthcoming third album Brothers And Sisters Of The Black Lagoon, and UnderTheRadar is delighted to present the New Zealand premiere for lead single 'Trapdoors'. The 11-song album follows on from the enigmatic group's 2013 release Vibration Animal Sex Brain Music, and will materialise worldwide on 13th May via British independent label Fire Records.

'Trapdoors' sees the foursome of Mos Iocos (synths), EtonalE (electric bass carillon) and Baba Rossa (biscuit tin guitar) and drummer Tooth conjure up a psychedelic sound to be reckoned with. The lyrics play out like an abstract call-and-response word association game, while the futuristic-yet-oddly-primitive musicianship pulls it along with sonic ebbs and flows. Soak it up below...
