Caught Live: Sere - Alien Boy

One of our favourite acts to emerge of late is the incredible sere, so while we wait for them to put out an EP or album of some sort we'll grab any scrap of music to surface from the group. This morning we were stoked to discover this top notch video of the band performing an amazing live cover of the Wipers track 'Alien Boy' at Golden Dawn for NZ Psych Fest last December.

The video comes courtesy of Up The Punks, and you can also check out a recorded version of the track over here, as part of a Wipers tribute album that just came out. The Auckland act is comprised of Grant Sheridan, Calum Gunn, Zac Arnold, Bridge Shoebridge, and standing in on drums for this performance is Sam Ralston (The Admiral, Bloodbags) due to a severe injury Shoebridge sustained during a mugging last year.
