Video: Delaney Davidson - Gimmie Your Hand (UTR Premiere)

A gorgeous new clip showcasing one of Auckland's idyllic westcoast beaches has been created for Delaney Davidson's song 'Gimme Your Hand' as part of one couple's global music video venture. Filmmakers Leo Longo and Diana Boccara spearhead the ambitious Around The World In 80 Music Videos project, and their New Zealand jaunt has seen the pair cook up clips for Dave Dobbyn, The Bollands and Anthonie Tonnon - as well as this sublime clip for Davidson shot at Bethells Beach - which saw the three artists come together in some very auspicious timing.

"When we first heard Delaney's music, we knew we had to invite such an amazing artists to be part of our project!, " Boccara explains. "Delaney flew into town on a Friday, our last day in Auckland. We met on that same afternoon and had a perfect farewell to New Zealand, shooting the last Kiwi music video with great company and an unforgettable sunset. As the result of such an intense collaborating, we came back with two beautiful takes. So beautiful we had to combine both of them. And that is our creative love story with Delaney Davidson."

Delaney says of the clip: "I got the message way too late in fact I nearly missed it... they were asking me if I could do a one shot video the same day I got back for European Tour, they were leaving the next day, sure I said... why not.. I looked at their video links and was amazed by the quality. I drove us out to Bethells Beach and we filmed this otherworldly desert planet timeless thing, it looked like outer space. We watched the sun set into the sea. I thought how weird that the first day back for me is the last day in NZ for these guys. like we overlapped somehow and were borrowing each others time."
