PRESS RELEASE:
WEE WINTER TOUR
Ha the Unclear returned from a triumphant debut Australian tour in February with The Wandering Lamb declaring “stellar performances”. Now they are taking their slap-you-in-the-face lyricism and skewed pop songs back on a wee winter tour of New Zealand in anticipation of a follow-up album due later in the year.
The last time the band took their alt-pop bopalongs around the country was supporting the Grammy nominated Courtney Barnett in November. The Dominion Post called their "navel gazing absurdity and quirky tone an ideal precursor to Barnett's deadpan irony". Now Ha the Unclear return to combine new material along with songs from their debut Bacterium, Look at Your Motor Go to create a fresh tour set about how we treat each other and the things around us, and how alien anthropologists will perceive modern society when we’re all dead and gone.
The tour follows a new video for 'Secret Lives of Furniture' from director Simon Oliver and cinematographer Simon Godsiff (Avatar, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Adventure, District 9).
