Video: Élan Vital - Janina

An alluring new video directed by Lady Lazer Light (aka Erica Sklenars) has surfaced for 'Janina', the new single from Dunedin trio Élan Vital. Utilising plenty of fog and palm trees, Sklenars has created a gothtropical paradise for the three-piece to inhabit while performing the tune, which according to frontwoman Renee Barrance is about "longing to be somewhere else and the dream like quality of reminiscing and romancing the past".

We've heard there's an album in the works for the near future, so keep your eyes peeled for more details on that and in the meantime enjoy this...

Élan Vital are playing this Wednesday 8th June at Wine Cellar in Auckland, and then wrapping up their tour with a Winter Solstice show on Thursday 9th June at Waiora Scout Camp in Dunedin. Head over here for details.
