Hailing from Queens, New York and signed to Stones Throw Records, Madcap is proud to present rapper and musician Homeboy Sandman on the “Kindness for Weakness” album tour. The layered wordsmith will be performing in New Zealand for the very first time, across two shows in Auckland & Wellington this coming August.

Queens’s rapper Homeboy Sandman went from law school to hip hop full time with the release of his debut EP, Nourishment and went on to expand the EP with Nourishment (Second Helpings). His second album, Actual Factual Pterodactyl was critically acclaimed upon its release in 2008 and praised for his "sharp lyrics and irresistibly melodic flow”, along with being named "Best Hip Hop Act in NYC" by the New York Press. Signed to Stones Throw Records in 2011, Homeboy Sandman is relentless in the art of hip hop. Having dropped his 6th studio album on May 6th, 2016 with “Kindness for Weakness” the indie rapper continues to display rhymes effortlessly with introspective narrative. Homeboy Sandman has once again established himself as one of the most productive and creative lyricists of this generation.
