Auckland City Limits Set To Return For 2017

Update 09/11: The ACL organiser have announced that the next edition of the popular festival will now take place in March 2018. 

Auckland City Limits music festival, which made its debut back in March this year, has been confirmed to return for 2017. Last year's line-up saw the likes of Kendrick Lamar, The National and Action Bronson hit the stage at Western Springs stadium for what turned out to be a promising inauguration (you can read our coverage over here).

Festival promoter Campbell Smith said in a statement that it has always been the intention to establish Auckland City Limits as an annual event. "We are excited to be able to set the date for our second year. Festival fans can start planning. We have some amazing artists coming and we are already working hard to ensure ACL 2017 will be bigger and better".

Auckland City Limits will return to Auckland's Western Springs stadium and park on Saturday 11 March 2017. Organisers will announce its first lineup of artists and go on sale in October.
