Dinosaur Jr Return To New Zealand For One Show In January

Dinosaur Jr are making their way back to Auckland for one show in the new year. The last time the legendary trio of J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph played together on New Zealand soil was in 2013 at a sold out show at The Powerstation in Auckland, ahead of Mascis and Barlow coming downunder for their respective solo tours.

Bringing the three-piece back to the antipodes is the new full-length record Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not, which came out last month to critical acclaim. However, with 11 studio albums up their sleeves, fans can look forward to an evening full of Dino Jr classics. Here are the the show details...

Indie rock legends, Dinosaur Jr will be returning to New Zealand in January 2017 for one New Zealand show at The Studio. Touring off the back of their widely-acclaimed new album, Give A Glimpse of What Yer Not, the original trio of J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph are set to bring out the classics from a catalogue that spans eleven albums between them, with hits like: Repulsion, Almost Ready, Little Fury Things, Watch The Corners, Freak Scene, The Wagon, Out There, Feel The Pain, as well as the new.
