Video: Le Butcherettes - My Mallely

When we spoke to the Melvins' Buzz Osbourne recently he cited Le Butcherettes as his favourite band, calling frontwoman Terry Gender Bender a "tremendous force of nature". That vital energy is something well captured in Le Butcherettes' new video for 'My Mallely', a track lifted off their 2015 offering A Raw Youth. Directed by oft-collaborator Omar Rodríguez-López (The Mars Volta, At the Drive-In, Antemasque), the clip follows Gender Bender as she powers through the bustling streets of New York City and the decay of Ciudad Juarez - a place once deemed Mexico's most dangerous city. Update: It turns out Buzz, Omar and Terry have joined together to form new band called Crystal Fairy. Here's their debut single 'Drugs on the Bus' released earlier this week.
