Listen: Jonathan Richman - People Are Disgusting

Songwriting genius (and founder of the Modern Lovers) Jonathan Richman has unveiled brand new single 'People Are Disgusting'. The track, which has been played live for some time now, sees the congested singer wax lyrical about the terrible state in which people leave motel rooms, and then wind down with the mantra "leave a tip". No word on a forthcoming album from Richman at this stage, but he did release Ishkode! Ishkode! through Blue Arrow Records earlier this year and is currently on tour - so fingers crossed he'll make it down here eventually...
