Listen: The Bats - Antlers

The Bats have announced their ninth album for release next year via Flying Nun, and in the lead-up have shared the new single 'Antlers'. A beautiful yet melancholy slice of guitar pop, the song is the first new music to emerge from the legendary Christchurch group in five years - their last offering being 2011's Free All The Monsters. Titled The Deep Set, the forthcoming album was laid down with Ben Edwards (Marlon Williams, Nadia Reid, Aldous Harding) at The Sitting Room in Lyttelton, and is due out on 27th January.
