Listen/Watch: The Eversons - Weird Year

The Eversons are showing 2016 the door with their new "harebrained novelty single" aptly titled 'Weird Year'. The stand-alone cut reflects on the batshit insane last 12 months, with an accompanying video of footage of everything from Harambe to Hulk Hogan to help hit things home. Explaining the genesis of the song in an email, bandmember Chris Young wrote: "We love to pass observation on weird things, and 2016 has been weird as. From the moment I heard Bowie died to the ridiculous spectacle of Trump's election, 2016 has seemed like a bizarre dream at times, so I wrote 'Weird Year' as a reflection on the madness".
