Listen: Meer - Rotton

Fresh but familiar hip-hop talent Meer has dropped a dark new cut titled ‘Rotton’. You may recognise Meer as being one half of rap duo Heavy and you may recall her other recent confronting single ‘Mango’ which dropped earlier this month. 

Meer, who placed a trigger warning on 'Rotton', explained the song's themes in a statement on her Facebook page: “This track is about sexual abuse and domestic violence. It’s for anyone who has ever been silenced, who has felt unaccepted and unwanted. This shit is not okay, so let’s talk about it.”
