Live Photos: Tattletale Saints - Sarjeant Gallery, Whanganui

Nashville-based outfit Tattletale Saints are making their way around the country for a summer tour in support of their recently released self-titled sophomore album. The pair, who originally hail from New Zealand, are joined for their home turf jaunt by drummer Joe McCallum (Tami Neilson, Delaney Davidson, Marlon Williams, Nadia Reid) and opening artist, knuckles; the solo project of Matthew Mitchinson - who has returned to New Zealand after nearly a decade spent making music in London as a core member of the critically-acclaimed band Klak Tik.

Photographer Gerry Le Roux headed along to the show in Whanganui's Sarjeant Gallery last night and notes that the performance felt like "a work in progress at this point, straddling the divide between their older well-honed acoustic style and something newer, freer and a bit wilder".
