Palmerston North two-piece fruit juice parade have emerged with their stellar debut single 'Whaling' via local label Papaiti Records. Taking elements of indie, pop-punk and emo, the track was brewed up by school friends Shannen Petersen (guitar/vocals) and Tharushi Bowatte (drums), who then worked with Harry Lilley to capture the song to tape, while still retaining its raw, almost angsty sensibilities.
