Hip Hop Linchpins Home Brew Announce Homecoming Tour

Hip Hop Linchpins Home Brew Announce Homecoming Tour

Wednesday 8th March, 2017 10:20AM

National treasures of beats and rhymes Home Brew have announced a six-date tour entitled ‘Return From Exile’. The tour sees the renowned rap group playing shows from Queenstown to Whangarei in order to raise some dough for “Tom [Scott] and Haz [“Beats” Huavi]’s solo vanity projects and Lui [Gumak]’s new tool belt". The satirical word-spitters made a clear point of there being no Auckland show. Is this a deliberate attempt to get city slickers to explore other parts of the country? Is it a teaser to build suspense for a particularly special hometown blow out? Only time will tell. Check out dates and details below…

Home Brew ‘Return From Exile’ Tour

Saturday 25th March, Winnie Bagoes, Christchurch
Wednesday 29th March, Loco, Queenstown
Thursday 30th March, Meow, Wellington

FROM THE PROMOTOR:

“In 2014, national party intelligence named Tom Scott the biggest risk to New Zealand’s homeland security and he was exiled to Australia.

As a result, the economy crumbled and housing prices sky rocketed. Lui was forced to find a big boy job in construction while Haz DJed for trust fund kids at 1885. Times were tough.

Three years and five NZ on Air shut downs later, the planets have realigned and the holy trinity of atheism has reunited for one more ‘last ever tour'.

Get your ticket at www.theticketfairy.com and witness live in person what could be Home Brew’s last great mental breakdown.

*Profits will go toward funding Tom and Haz’s solo vanity projects and Lui’s new tool belt. No Auckland show.

Tickets on sale Wednesday 8th March | 7pm”
