Roland Tings Announces Two New Zealand Shows For April

Melbourne-based electronic artist Rohan Newman, aka Roland Tings, has added two New Zealand dates to his upcoming Each Moment A Diamond EP release tour. It won't be Roland's first visit to these shores, having been here previously for Camp A Low Hum and Square Wave music festivals, but this time round he won't be flying solo - the Roland Tings live show has been expanded to include a drummer which will undoubtedly add a whole new level of dynamics. After a whirlwind few months touring with Chrome Sparks, RUFUS & Laneway Festival, Roland Tings is now ready to unveil his latest body of work, the six track "Each Moment A Diamond" EP. Covering a wide expanse of terrain, the EP crosses boundaries from euphoric techno to infectious pop songs and stargazing synthscapes.

After years playing solo, the Roland Tings live show has been expanded into a two piece with the addition of a drummer - crafting an exceptional live house set that will do nothing short of blow you away. Combining a complex system of modular synthesis and live drumming the Roland Tings live show enters into uncharted territory, interweaving textural intricacies with live improv to create truly dynamic electronic music, delving the dancefloor further into Roland's world.
