Wednesday 29th March, 2017 9:42AM
Earlier this year English shoegaze pioneers Slowdive surfaced with their first new song in 22 years in the form of 'Star Roving'. At the time guitarist/vocalist Neil Halstead said the band had been working on a "a bunch of new tracks", and now they've revealed swirling new single 'Sugar For The Pill' along with revealing details for an upcoming album. The self-titled record is slated for release on 5th May, and will be the group's first full-length since their 1995 release Pygmalion.
Check out 'Sugar For The Pill' below along with a video which was produced by in/out, and takes its inspiration from the Slowdive album artwork - which is itself a still from Harry Smith’s 1957 cult avant-garde animation Heaven and Earth Magic...
