
The Dillinger Escape Plan Announce Last Ever New Zealand Shows
On the heels of releasing their sixth and final album Dissociation last year, New Jersey mathcore outfit The Dillinger Escape Plan have lined up their final ever New Zealand shows for October. Having formed in 1997, the pioneering group announced late last year that they would be calling it quits following the release tour for the universally acclaimed swansong record. Talking about their decision to disband, guitarist Ben Weinman said in an interview that the group had wanted to "pull a Seinfeld" and finish on a high note.
The five-piece are notorious for their hyperactive live performances and onstage antics, while retaining razor precision of musicianship. Here are the details for their not-to-be-missed shows...
