Steve Gunn Announces New Zealand Tour For July
New York-based singer, songwriter and guitar slinger Steve Gunn is heading to New Zealand for four shows in July on the heels of releasing his latest solo record Eyes on the Lines. With a career stretching back 15 years, the prolific folk-rock artist has produced a vast body of work that includes collaborations with the likes of Kurt Vile, The Black Twig Pickers and Mike Cooper and also includes a spell doing time as a guitarist for Vile's backing band The Violators. His July jaunt on these shores will see Gunn not only deliver songs from his latest record, but dig down into his solo catalogue as well as perform some of his ensemble work. 'By embracing the expanse, his music has gotten bigger, and more universal" ★★★★ - PITCHFORK
'So intimate and so mysteriously distant all at once' – WASHINGTON POST
