Stream At The Drive In's First Album In 17 Years 'in ter a li a'

Friday 5th May, 2017 1:00PM

Influential post-hardcore crew At The Drive In have dropped their first full-length in 17 years in the form of in ter a li a. Produced by guitarist/vocalist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Rich Costey (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Jane’s Addiction) at Sound Factory in Hollywood, the 11-track record continues in the same vein as 2000’s seminal album Relationship of Command, but is the first album to feature former Sparta guitarist Keeley Davis. The curious title of the album translates from Latin to ‘among other things’.

Speaking about the experience of recording in ter a li a, drummer Tony Hajjar told NME: "It was the most fun I’ve had in years. It was so great to be around people I care for and care for me. We had some awesome, tough moments. But at the end, they were still great. When it was done we went into the studio control room, the last day of recording, we all just hugged each other. I’m so proud of my brothers, proud that we’ve done this, proud that we still get to do this at any level."
