Invisible Threads Let Loose New Song 'Isle Of The Dead' + Video By Ducklingmonster

Thursday 11th May, 2017 9:14AM

Auckland noise-rock foursome Invisible Threads have shared killer new single 'Isle Of The Dead' along with a suitably soaring video by conjured up by local artist Ducklingmonster.  Writing about the track the group said in a statement:

"The lyrics are a dark rumination on disturbed minds based on a fascinating true crime podcast Sam heard about the famous Australian mass shooting at Port Arthur. Beth Dawson aka Ducklingmonster Futurian has come through with a very fitting piece of video art as a visual accompaniment for the track featuring a bird of prey stalking it's next victim!"

The band, which after a few changes has settled into the line-up of Sam Moore, Dan Taylor, Jana Winter and Brent Bidlake, laid down the song in Winter's garage (surrounded by about 20,000 7-inch records) and are sharing it as a taster of their new full-length which is on its way. Check out 'Isle Of The Dead' below...
