Listen To Lorde's New Pop Gem 'Perfect Places'

As the release of her eagerly-awaited sophomore album Melodrama inches closer, pop cherub Lorde has dropped her third single ‘Perfect Places’. Coming on the coattails of earlier singles 'Green Light' and 'Liability', the new tune was crafted with familiar collaborator Jack Antonoff and features her classic impassioned vocal intonations over interweaving piano and synthesiser lines. Along with the release, the chanteuse gave some insight into the new tune via her Facebook page:

“All last summer, I couldn't shake the feeling that everyone I knew or saw was searching for something - trying to transcend the news and the screaming pavements, drinking that one drink hoping it'd get them someplace higher. This song comes from that endless cycle of evenings and the violent heat of the summer. It took us a very long time to get right, from an aching piano demo to where is it now. It's close to my heart. I hope you like it.”


Melodrama is out 16th June, but in the meantime soak this up....
