
Former Crystal Castles Frontwoman Alice Glass Shares Single 'Without Love'
The force of nature that is Alice Glass, the original vocalist from electro punk icons Crystal Castles, has shared a slice of pop indulgence titled ‘Without Love’, the first since her 2015 solo debut ‘Stillbirth’. However, the new tune is a cleaner outing then her previous offering and is accompanied by a vibrantly colourful video.
The single's visuals were directed by Flora Sigismondi who is best known for writing and directing the 2010 film The Runaways – a film about the Joan Jett-lead rock ‘n’ roll band of the same name. Also among Sigismondi’s video clip credits are Rihanna, David Bowie, Sigur Ros and Marilyn Manson, the latter of which is fitting as Glass has just announced she will be joining the goth rock mainstay on several tour dates throughout the US in the coming months.
