Stream Three-Track Release 'Everybody Hates You' From Dbldbl x Trapjaw Kelpie

Auckland-based MC and producer Dbldbl has dropped a collaboration with multi-platform artist Trapjaw Kelpie. Entitled Everybody Hates You, the release is three tracks of bass heavy hip-hop with Dbldbl’s trademark earnest lyrics. The cover art was constructed by Trapjaw Kelpie under his visual art moniker Grits N’ Grams. In a statement about the release the pair said:

"‘Everybody Hates You’ is a shout out to all the closet homophobes, transphobes, racists and sexists who have ever been defended with phrases such as “they’re actually really nice”, “I’ve known them a long time, they would never do/ say that”, “that doesn’t sound like them” etc etc etc. This is for the ignorant and blissfully oblivious hiding behind seemingly aware social circles. A special request for all the oppressive saviours, the abusers, the manipulators and the fake allies. A gift for the problematic. A sweet little fuck you to all. I hope you like it."
