Godspeed You! Black Emperor Unveil New Cut 'Undoing A Luciferian Towers'

Expansive experimental outfit Godspeed You! Black Emperor have unveiled the opening track from their upcoming album Luciferian Towers. Clocking in at nearly eight minutes long, the cinematic single is a slow-burning affair awash with pervasive strings, driving drums, stabbing brass and meandering wind instruments which together form a rich and urging soundscape. The album was laid down with Greg Norman at Montreal’s Hotel2Tango and on their Bandcamp page the group said of the record:

"this, this long-playing record, a thing we made in the midst of communal mess, raising dogs and children. eyes up and filled with dreadful joy – we aimed for wrong notes that explode, a quiet muttering amplified heavenward. we recorded it all in a burning motorboat."
