Scottish seven-piece Belle and Sabastian have shared a visual accompaniment for their recent single ‘We Were Beautiful’. The clip was shot throughout the band’s hometown of Glasgow and was directed by Blair Young of Forest of Black, who has previously directed clips for Franz Ferdinand and Badly Drawn Boy. Young explained some of the inspiration behind the video…
“Life experienced at different speeds as the city wakes up over a Saturday morning. Filmed throughout Glasgow, from Crookston in the south-west, through the City Centre to Easterhouse and Cranhill.”
