Mayhem Announce 'De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas' Auckland Show
Pioneers of Scandinavian black metal Mayhem will be returning to Auckland to perform their grim classic album De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas in January. Last playing in Aotearoa at Auckland's Westfest in 2015, the controversial group's current touring lineup includes iconic members Atilla Csihar, Necrobutcher and Hellhammer. The 1994 album's recording process was dogged by scandal, with band member Varg Vikernes (Burzum) ending up being incarcerated for the murder of guitarist Euronymous. The Norwegian group's dark shadow has extended far over the world of music and visual culture, here's the lowdown on their upcoming show...
