Hans Pucket Share Lyric Video For 'F*ck My Life'

Wellington alt-pop groups Hans Pucket have dropped a lyric video for their acerbic latest single “Fuck My Life.” A lite disco grooving number, the tune is complemented by a DIY video of appropriated and inspirational footage featuring amazing stunts, horses in slow motion slow motion, and much more. The clip’s three dimensional text spells out the song’s forthright lyrics in a variety of garish fonts for you to sing along to the bopping tune at home. “‘Fuck My Life’ is our band's first truly earnest disco song. For probably a couple of years now, when we've talked about new tunes, we kept referencing David Bowie's ‘Let's Dance’, as in "when are we gonna make our ‘Let's Dance’?!” We had this collective moment of clarity where we decided our primary purpose as a band was to make people boogie. This song is our most banging effort to incorporate all those cheesy 70s dance influences - we all love ABBA and the Bee Gees, and as probably an effort to battle against all that cheese, I brought in the most spiteful, bitter lyric I've ever written.

 I reckon it's healthy to have a breakdown every now and then, when things don't go to plan. To actually feel all of your anger, for about 2 and a half minutes. Then you dance your butt off and keep trying to keep it all together.”
