British singer-songwriter and humanitarian Yusuf Islam (formerly known as Cat Stevens) brought his beloved tunes to Spark Arena last night for the first of two special Auckland shows celebrating the 50th anniversary of his first hit single, the title track to his debut album Matthew & Son all the way back in 1967. The artist played selections from throughout his illustrious back catalogue, including tunes from classic 1970 album Tea For The Tillerman, set against a stage backdrop modelled on an English railway station.
