Melbourne's Soakie Drop Debut EP 'Dangerous Doge Demo'
Cacophonous punk rock four-piece Soakie shared their inaugural slice of contemporary hardcore, Dangerous Doge Demo. Made up of members hailing from Brooklyn NYC, as well as Wellington and Hamilton, the project has been a whirlwind experience thus far, with the crew announcing a tour of Aotearoa this March after having only existed collectively for eight weeks. Their lyrics cover themes including power imbalances (particularly in the music industry) and the pitfalls of public transport. Listen to Dangerous Doge Demo and check out the tour dates below...
You can catch Soakie in Auckland on Saturday 3rd March at the Full Noise after party at Whammy Backroom, Thursday 8th March in Hamilton at Nivara Lounge, Friday 9th March in Palmerston North at Snails, and Saturday 10th March at Wellington's Newtown Community Centre.
