Auckland's P Wits Shares Experimental Album 'Blonde On Blonde'
P Wits is the solo project of Auckland-based experimental artist Benedict Quilter, who also records collaboratively with Psychick Witch and Yawn, and is the co-founder of adventurous local label Independent Woman Records. His latest collection Blonde On Blonde is a fifteen track, multifaceted noise-guitar odyssey; sometimes abrasive, sometimes elegant, but always questing for new shapes in sound. The relationship with Bob Dylan's 1966 record of the same name must remain a mystery, limited edition cassettes of Quilter's album will be out in April via Australian label Chemical Imbalance but you can get a head start on irl formats via the stream below...
Cassette copies of 'Blonde On Blonde' are available from Monday 23rd April via Chemical Imbalance.
