Mermaidens Share Dreamlike Video 'Fade'
Wellington trio Mermaidens have unveiled a video for their mesmerising tune 'Fade', drawn from the band's Taite-nominated 2017 album Perfect Body. The stunningly filmed clip by directors Ezra Simons and Julian Vares features dreamlike imagery of dancer Zahra Killeen-Chance performing poolside choreographed movements, alongside hazy footage of the group in action. Bandmember Gussie Larkin describes 'Fade' as "an intimate look at sacrifices and promises we make to someone we're truly entranced by. It's the moment of surrender to another in the middle of a deserted, smokey dancefloor."
