The Bats Announce South Island Shows

Tuesday 8th May, 2018 9:42AM

Christchurch Flying Nun legends The Bats are taking their iconic jangle-pop sound on the road for shows at Dunedin's The Cook in early June, and their hometowns' Foundry in late May alongside Jordan Luck of The Exponents. The long-running lineup of Robert Scott (also of the Clean), Paul Kean (Toy Love), Kaye Woodward and drummer Malcolm Grant amazingly have thirty five years of recording and live shows under their combined belts and the great tunes won't quit - their most recent album (their ninth) The Deep Set gave us the sparkling single 'Busy' and the band currently have another long-player in the works, due for release this coming Spring. They'll be joined for their short tour by pals Jay Clarkson, The Containers, Wendys, and Undercurrents. Always a fabulous live act, catch The Bats at the shows below...
